boutiq is ringing in the new year with “Companion for Life“, an imaginative showpiece for the world renowned Swiss brand. (Yes, the people who came up with the Swiss Army Knife.) It all began as a fairly large pitch last summer. Now a half a year and thousands of hours later, we can feast our eyes on this labor of love. Not your typical corporate, the 8-minute film effortlessly combines live action, motion design, illustration and 2D/3D animation. In the hands of the director team Marion Schramm and Daniel Leuthold at Blush Films, the storytelling become painterly visions that are part fantasy illustration, part photorealism.
